Our Story
It started in 1980, in my mom’s kitchen.
She was given a toffee recipe and couldn’t wait to make it for her dad. It took time to get it just right, but no matter how it turned out, he always ate it with a smile. That recipe became a family tradition rooted in love, patience, and care.
Years later, when my brothers and I were in school, Mom started gifting jars of her toffee to our teachers during the holidays. After moving to Lake Havasu in 2003, she shared it with friends and family for Christmas. Word spread fast. People kept saying, “You should sell this.” So she did — right from her kitchen. Every holiday season, demand grew.
For years, I asked my mom for the recipe. She always said no — with a smile.
Then one day, she surprised me and handed it to me. That moment changed everything.
This is where my story begins.
I spent over 20 years working construction — long days, hard work, always trading time for money. When my mom gave me the recipe in 2023, I knew two things: the toffee was special, and I wasn’t going back to work for anyone else.
I went all in — because I believe in the legacy behind it and the future ahead of it.
Today, Mom and Son’s Toffee is built on 46 years of tradition, family, and love — made the same way it always has been, just shared with a lot more people.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
